PRIMARY CLASSES
PRIMARY CLASSES ARE SUITED TO DANCERS BETWEEN 5 & 13 YEARS OF AGE
Primary classes are 30 min classes and as with all HIPA classes they are designed to help your child’s confidence grow. They will learn mind and body connection and spatial awareness. All our classes have an emphases on encouragement and enjoyment. We make sure every child gets to have their time in the front row in every class. All of our instructors are enthusiastic and caring. We have worked hard to build a supportive community where all our dancers help encourage and support each other. Join us at one of our Goldcoast dance studio.
TAP
With Tap being about making our feet an extra percussion instrument that adds to a song, our students learn to listen to the beats as the heart of the music. We encourage children to make some noise hitting the beats as well as in a syncopated rhythm to really make the brains fire up. Our tap classes are based on a mix between F.A.T.D and an American style of tap giving the students a fun yet technically correct understanding. This class runs From 3.30-4.00pm
BALLET
A lovely introduction to Ballet, this class teaches how fun Ballet can actually be… No ballet dragons in this class! Our teachers are young and fun, friendly and kind. However, teaching your young ones correct technique and terminology is at the top of our list. Ballet has always been the pinnacle of grace, strength and technical ability, Every dancer can benefit from taking ballet as it teaches control and strength like no other style. This class runs From 4.00-4.30pm
SONG & DANCE
This is a great introduction to dance for a young child and a fun interactive class for the bigger ones. In this class we teach basic singing technique to go along with a song that we then teach a jazz style routine to. We learn to move and sing at the same time, thus helping our mind and body to work in conjunction and improve our concentration. This class runs From 4.30-5.00pm
HIP HOP
In this class the children learn the beginnings of the Hip Hop style to an age appropriate child friendly song. This class has a looser style style than jazz so each child can put their own flare into the moves. This is a fun and popular class, We also recommend Jazz as a great complimentary class to hip hop as it helps to bolster their body movement, strength and technique. This class runs From 5.00-5.30pm
JAZZ
With happy, upbeat, current music and a style that is child friendly this class is based on fun. We believe children should get to be children and in all our classes you will find age appropriate moves, technique and teaching styles. Jazz is a great foundation for many modern styles including hip hip and freestyle as it teaches strength, body control and a technical foundation of many dance styles. This class runs From 5.30-6.00pm

3.30-6.00pm at Mudgeeraba community Centre @ Firth park on a THURSDAY
THE TIMETABLE RUNS THE SAME FOR BOTH DAYS
3.30-4.00 Tap, 4.00-4.30 Ballet, 4.30-5.00 Song & Dance, 5.00-5.30 Hip Hop, 5.30-6.00 Jazz.

HIPA STUDIOS CLASS PRICES
At HIPA STUDIOS we believe everybody should have the opportunity to dance and as such part of our philosophy is to make our dance classes as affordable and as accessible as possible.
*WE WILL NOT make you pay a term fee HOWEVER we will give you a 10% DISCOUNT should you wish to pay for the full term upfront.*(not in conjunction with other discounts)
You only pay for the classes you attend. if you are Absent we do not charge you.
We do charge an annual Registration fee this is $20 for the first student and $15 for the second student in one family, any additional students will not be charged a registration fee.
ALL our 30 minute Classes are charged as follows per day
1 Class = $13
2 Classes = $20
3 Classes = $27
4 Classes = $33
5 Classes = $38
All Prices include GST
We also apply a 10% Discount for family’s with more than 1 student.
